The judge who sued his dry cleaning shop for $US54 million ($64.4 million) over a lost pair of trousers said as the trial wrapped up on Wednesday that he would use any winnings he might get to encourage others to follow suit.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in a while, and I live here in America. To make matters worse the guy suing is in the law field. This is a fine example of wasted space on the court docket.

Try to picture all of the lawyers on this planet. Got it pictured? 80% of them are in America. Moreover, picture all of the litigation on this planet, every law single suit. 96% of all the litigation on this planet occurs in America. The real sad fact is, that there are more lawyers currently in law school in America today, than there are practicing lawyers already out there.:smt078 -

It's ashame that someone who took an oath to uphold the law is now distorting it. I guess that's what it's all about anymore anyway, and that's sad.

The guy suing is a judge, he ought to be thrown off the bench and lose his law license. I heard its $2800 a day in fees just to use the courtroom.
