Are the T660s nice at least? Comfortable, powerful, etc.

As comfortable as a small space can be. Trks governed at 62 and could swear the power has been turned down also but not sure on that. All trks equipped with a fridge, APU, and 1500 w inverter.

Found out something bout the 700's I DON'T like. No outside grab rail. Where in the heck would I mount a pole for satellit dish?

Not only that, I don't think they have a visor either. That's just plain wrong. All that stuff gone in an attempt to gain a fraction of a fraction of a mile per gallon.

A fridge? I dunno too many companies that put them in company trucks. About the only other company I know of that does that is Hirschbach. As for the T700, that seriously looks like a T2000 cab with a widened 660 hood.

Never been in a 2000 and wonder/think, this is the replacement for it? JMHO but if other companies did get them with fridges and some other niceties, drvr retention would go up. PLS exclude most mega carriers from that statement tho!!!!

Think TA does it like that for resale value and because they REALLY are pushing leases now, so need an O/O spec'd trk to make it look good. Benefits us company drvr's also since we get them down the road somewhere. lol

Take it from experience do not go lease. I am a lease driver and I am making some money but not what i should. I am single and never go home and I average arnd 600 a week. some more some less.. I do not have bills just child support and cell phone and internet. If you have family and need insurance and a check every week dont do it. I only go home about every 8 to 10 weeks. I have never been in hole but some small checks. Every company driver I talk to say they like it,,Go company trans am lease program is a rip off

I think the T2000 will be phased out because of the T700. The 2000s are great inside for living space and storage.

Just being curious, were any of those companies, mega sized? Most of the big training companies don't. Ooops, did I just call TA a training company?? Well slap me silly, specially since I took a chewing out for telling one of the big wigs that. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that we do do training BUT we are not a training company!!! :biggrin_2555:
