One thing that always concerns me on these contract deals is the one year commitment.

Sticking it out for one year could be a problem. What if you are not making much money? Do you have a family to support?

What if they run you off? Are you still on the hook for the tuition?

The deal is defiinitely slanted in favor of the company. Without a weekly guarantee, what are you going to do if they starve you out? Can you live on $200/week? How about a zero/week?

Don't think it will happen? Guess again.

I think you have a pretty good start by the look of your report. It sounds like FFE is a tough but fair start in commercial driving. There is alot of stress in starting out in this business. Be patient and someday you will be able to tell fact from fiction. :yes2557:

There is his story then theres is the company story. But bashing a company maybe for his mistakes is not right either. Not trying to be a butt about it, this guy doesn't have the fax straight at all. The school he went to he says was FFE, it wasn't. It was a company where FFE hired drivers out of. If you don't turn your trip pack in right, like missing receipts sure there's going to be pay problems. Every company out there your going to have hiccups it's just how you deal
with them. I think all of us drivers need to have a better attitude about our jobs, because at least we have a job not like the millions that don't.

I like that fancy is the only driver who had a good experience with FFE, yet somebody who admits he is just now going to the company knows all there is to know of the story. Maybe a little research on the forum and he would read some of the other threads associated with frequently f*d employees
