back from home time and sitting in sayreville awaiting a load. It's ironic but I wound up hooking an mt here and it's the same trailer I just pulled from conover to here saturday....LOL

I was like COOL! I know it's a good trailer. First one in the last 22 for me...LOL

today was one of my worst days hahaha...massive snowstorm and stupid chains on donner. i had no idea they made you chain trailers here. freakin stupid to chain 2. so all that extra work means when i finished the roads had gone from snowy to clear so i drive 15 miles in just wet at 30 vibrating like crazy realizing why that road is in such horrible condition. when i did get to snow it was crazy. but 2 chains broke a link so i took them off since i also hadnt known i only had to do 1 drive.

a year later when i took them off yet another link was broken so i now have 1 chain and 2 trailers left. if that werent enough i had ran over someones lost bungee and had to get a new tire. and now i know why people say no one carries super singles. because they dont haha. i called 5 places before i got someone who had one AND was willing to go up there in the snow.
now in sacramento but have to move because i pulled into a #### pay truck stop.

Went back and checked the mailbox about 30 mins later and the p/w was in there. Run to Billings, Helena, Spokane, then final in Lakewood. Since I got the load late I left this am instead of yesterday. Already getting q/c's for eta to Spokane. Looks like I'll hit Billings Friday afternoon so I'll be doing a 34 over the weekend, hopefully in Helena rather then Billings.

Stopped for the night at the Winston T/S in Winston, Missouri. 628 miles today, dang Chris is a bad influence! lol

Not really, I was at 77,000...It wasn't fun, it was getting dark and others were having their rear wheels come off the ground and knew tomorrow would be a better day...Just figured it best to call it and wait till the morning...Drove 680 miles up to Great Falls today and it was beautiful all the way up!...

Nice, I went from my home just west of Phx to Blythe Ca. And met rookie driver Nosense(I will explain my namee calling later) and got his load from him as he has a blown turbo on his truck, the load was going from Phx. Pepsi to Las Vegas Pepsi, why he went to Blythe and up 95 I did not ask him, so I get to LV and the guard asks me, where is the load from? I thought thaat was a bit strange and so I wtarted making small talk and then as he is writing my info down I ask him why he wanted to know where the load was from? He proceeds tp tell me tuat the LAST 3 LOADS FROM PHX PEPSI HAVE BEEN ON THE FLOOR.. I explained that I hzc pcked it up from Mr. Nosense in Blythe and ha say let's look at it, so we break the seal and open the brtoken doors and yeppers you guessed it 2 back pallets on the floor!!!!! So I proceeded to explain that I did not strap it that NS strapped it, he put the strzps upside down and did not pull them tight before ratcheting them up, so none of tyhem were tight!! So after I restacked the pallets I called Rich and ex,plained to him what had happened and that the straps were not even close to being installed correctly, so he told me he would throw me $40 bones for my efforts, I thought that was pretty cool, so then I sent in my MT AND AVILABLE, and I got a run right up the street from Pepsi from Solar carpet and it is recycle carpet going to Vernon Ca. For Friday but I will drop it in the SFS yard and grab an MT and head over to BFC for a nice run to Statesville NC. Im in Baker Ca. And the wind is rocking the truck like crazy, I had a really good and relaxing hometime, cooked what I wanted to, made my wife cook what I wanted and really spent alot of tome with my 4 kids, the oldest was out of school on spring brk. So now I'm ready to run and the way it looks they are very busy!!! Be Good and SAFE!! TD24

Ran into Walstib here in Great Falls pilot. Just relaxing from my worse trip of the winter goings Havre MT. Major snow stopped traffic on 87 north above Billings. I had to stop going up a hill after I saw a tanker and a W/S truck hanging out in ditches. Everybody had to throw iron if they had it. Drivers were ok but 3 hour long backup in the middle of a snow storm. Headed back to Denver to get out the snow. Never thought I would ever say that.

TD24, Pepsi loads are the WORST!! They were a regular thing on the SFS-PHX run I had with CAGE...
The people in Phoenix told us we had the authority to break the seal and check it if I wasn't the one that actually got it loaded to check the straps. With Pepsi, we always used 3, and even then sometimes there were some on the floor.....

Is it the 49er? I've never had any luck finding free legal parking in Sacramento, but I was lucky enough to not have to pay to park at the 49er.

yeah i never went in there before so i didnt know it was pay. i have a little spot down 80 a ways. it says 1 hour parking from 8pm-6am but ive never had any trouble. and theres mexican food. not great but not taco bell.

i have to go north out of cali, where theres more chain stuff. i will not be chaining since i no longer have enough chains haha. but it looks like theres not as much snow coming down tomorrow so maybe it will get cleared up. i totally jinxed myself thinking i was going to be clear until summer. i really dont understand how all my chains broke, i already chained up a bunch of times this year and never had an issue. 4/6 snapped a link yesterday.

also i had another flat after i parked last night. a piece of chain ina trailer tire, picked it up after the first because i checked them all the first time before i called the shop. so never had a flat either until yesterday either than had 2. go figure.
