as I was saying earlier, I use the Internet to stream CNN news, and listen to it through my radio speakers. I can also use the new software to drive and pose while keeping my eyes on the non-driving car in front of me. The Internet is obviously used for entertainment value.

And for $10 a month I get CNN news, Fox News, The Weather channel & about 150 other radio channels that stream thru my speakers with no internet access required & no laptop by side to serve as a distraction....

Who would of thunk it was possible?

You are assuming facts not presented as evidence.

    You, on the other hand...
would have an extremely difficult time proving that "although the laptop was connected to the Internet and was streaming programs and I was entering new posts on my favourite trucking forum, I was not looking at the screen when I ran over that Ford Fiesta that pulled out in front of me... your Honour."

While I don't doubt you're using it responsibly, it is a level of distraction that could prove disastrous. I'm not sure I would be comfortable having to defend the potential outcome. And I'm a guy that tends to push the envelope to within the maximum allowable (legal :biggrin_25525:) limits.

I would still like an answer to my question. You must have to use your hands to put the smiley's where you want them? Yes, No? [IMG]

You still haven't responded to trucker 101 as to how your smiley emoticons got on there by simply talking. Do they require a special language ?? :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

In my opinion....too many toys in reach of the driver. Turn the CB on...and your Sirius...and you'll have all you can handle.

I vote troll maybe? If I'm wrong, sorry, but distracted driving is just plain dangerous, along with a couple other adjectives.:biggrin_25513:
