I just did my hazmat, and although I haven't gotten the results from the back ground check back, so far it hasn't been too bad. Just took a test at the dmv, then went for my fingerprints, and that's it. Now I just gotta wait.

Just remember to read the questions carefully. At least in TN they tried to trick ppl on the test with how they worded some of them.

I don't have any trucking experience to compare them to...
But they have been very friendly!

I finally got thru to the HR guy today after a week of trying, I talked to him for awhile and he was honest about their OJT program saying they only hire 2-5 a year for it at about this time of year. I'm one of maybe 25 applicants. He looked over my app and asked me a few questions. Told me I'd know something maybe in 1-2 weeks. So I'm not holding my breath. I don't think he likes the fact that I was terminated from home depot, but that I won my unemployment because the sate found "no fault of mine in my termination" Long story I was there 3.3 yrs and just canned for an S.O.P. violation it was BS anyway. The one thing going for me is my son works there and is very well liked because of his work ethic. so we'll see.

In the meantime I have a tentative orientation date with Pride of 4/25 and I talked to Schneider yesterday and will contact her again Monday, to set that date for the 25th also, and I'll do the same with Werner so I can make a decision from there if I can't get an answer from BT.

sorry I'm kind of distracted by my house cleaning girl in her skin tight tanktop...:biggrin_25522:

she's a friend of ours that has her own part time Cleaning Business so she comes in every two weeks to help my wife stay on top of things....not only does she look great she is very sweet, and can clean!
    anyway back on track lol....
thats where I'm at right now enjoying my time off but wanting to get back to work.
