As a teacher I thought it was hard picking my first school to work for, but I believe reading all the stories on here has made it nearly impossible to pick a single trucking company. Either everyone is unhappy with the world or every single trucking company is horrible. I thought the process of picking my first job would be an easy one, but I simply cant pick one. I now believe my trucking school is lying to me as well as company recruiters and the benefits listed on website are scams. I feel like I will be diving into hell when I do finally pick one. Just sounding off, I am sure a few people will feel as I do.
Gotta love this website

In my research I have found that the community college route seems to be the most "unencumbered" path. I've always wondered about the private schools and potential ties or kickbacks for steering students to one particular company. The schools owned by the companies have obvious pitfalls..................
The above is only my opinion and may be proven incorrect at anytime............ -
Nope I didn't. I learned a long time ago if you go into something expecting too much you willl always be disappointed.. go into this with open eyes.. blinder just make you blind
-
Community College was not an option for me as they have cut the program entirely.

Keeping in mind that most people who are upset only post negative stuff while people who are happy tend to enjoy it with no words needing to be said. So you will always find more complaints then positives.
Think about it like this. You run a retail store like walmart or target. You place a box for team members to write down and place their opinions in. Now 2/5 people will have positive experience while the rest are looking at the stuff they don't have or don't get. So 150 employees, 90 negative and 60 positive. (if my math is right). But point is that company's cant always please everyone. -
Go into it with an open mind. Hope for the best, expect that you might be disappointed about some things, know that some people will screw their own family over for a penny, be grateful when things turn out like you want.
Wow sounds like life.
There is good & bad at all companies, some are worse than others. Try to find one that fits your needs the best & get the experience you need to be selective in your next choice. -
