WS drivers whats your 20

Meridian, ID about 2 blocks from my delivery! Glad to be out of SLC and the snow there!

 

how much snow are we talking? if i get my way thats the direction ill be going.

 

So at this point AXE with W/S, do you know where you're to go next; waiting on your dispatcher?

Curious how it works out.

 

Wasn't snowing this am when I left, but I believe another front is coming in Monday.

 

Normally no, but when I called to get this load (couldn't qualcomm due to the safety oos for pee test) was told I'd be picking up a load of sugar going to Arizona. The last couple of months I've been getting my next load assigned via the Qualcomm before I've finished the load I'm on, so a lot of it depends on the dispatcher. I know chris and I believe A/T as well are in constant contact with the inbound dispatcher getting the next load setup. I'm not that proactive!

 

I too like to make sure I have my next load before I'm done current load, depending on where in country I am, it's usually not a problem...

Sittin at delivery, Lincoln Electric in Lithia Springs, GA, for 8am unload...I need to get rid of this trailer(2409), although lights all work when I check them, I was getting light warning messages most of the way down here, made sure I only drove in daylight as I'm not sure what's going on when moving...

 

So, what kinda happens next (no to be too nosy); get a steak and wait by the Qualcomm 'til morning?

Dispatchers work for you on Sunday's?

 

there is a weekend dispatcher but she doesn't get loads for you, only there for other support I guess! If you're not setup for a load running over the weekend you sit for the weekend.

Probably as soon as I send in my empty and available tomorrow am (maybe even after she gets my arrived at final stop) I'll get the next load assignment.

I, on most occasions, can get a weekend load assigned to me on Friday while under load, unless I need a reset...
