I thought Jack was the most charismatic. I though Gilles did the best job discrediting Steve. And I thought Iggy takes the award for the most childish display.

Jack wins for the best line....."I don't know why we need to build more prisons because the criminals seem quite comfortable in the Senate"

Again, no one is forced to use a credit card. Can't control your spending? Awwwwwww. Sucks to be you(You, being a general term, not you in specific EOTR).

Granny shouldn't have lived above her means, and should have put more money away for retirement. So should you. So should everyone. Being lazy with your finances isn't a good reason to rely on an inept government to look after you in your golden years.

Well Right now I get 1185 a month on CPP. A raise is not unreasonable. If you disagree...you try it.
I agree though. Put as much away for retirement as you can. But not so much money as something else. Like real estate. Money will fail soon. All your savings will be worth about 1/3 what it is now.

    Mark my words sonny. :biggrin_25524:

Screw you old man, you should have planned for your twilight years better. Us young and strong people shouldn't have to pay for you. I don't care that you worked your whole life to help build this country. That crap doesn't mean anything now. I don't care that you sacrificed yourself to improve things for me now, too bad for you sucker. You should have looked out for number 1.

And that is the Conservative way!

It's becoming increasingly obvious that you are completely clueless regarding fiscal resposibility and how the world actually works however, just for fun, lets examine your attempt at sarcasm.
It's true that the younger generation should not have to pay for the older generation but, because of Liberal spending, it's become a necessity. The country HAS a debt you know.
Unless people were volunteering, EVERY generation living today got paid for the work they performed. If that work was "building the country" or building kitchen cabinets matters not. Work is work and pay is pay. When a worker recieves his/her paycheque, the worker and company are square.
Actually, it's the other way around. The younger generation now has to sacrifice for the excesses of us old farts. Just how do you think the country accrued a $460 BILLION debt???. By giving the baby boomer generation $460 BILLION MORE than the baby boomers gave the government. Now it's up to the next generation to SACRIFICE to pay that down. We can, like you, continue to be selfish and subscribe to the Liberal mentality where the government will look after our every need buying our loyalty with our grandchildren's money (and future) but many Canadians are seeing the light realizing that the gravy train HAS to end and, for the sake of our grandchildren, it has to end NOW.

And you are right. That IS the Conservative way.

Oh, we can't give our seniors more without selling the country up the river? Really?

I think it is you who doesn't understand responsibility, the responsibility we have to each other. Maybe we can hire the aged to wash our new F35's. At least they won't be broke then.
