I don't take breaks when on these type of runs, I go full speed until out of time, then eat and sleep...When you have to deliver between 10-6(although I haven't had any object to later than 6 or earlier than 10 either), you really have to hustle to get er done!

May be a silly question but; do companies like W/S let you take the tractor/trailer home, or do you park it at a terminal and drive your POV home?

I have most of the paperwork done to start school here with SAGE in the next few weeks, and am looking at who I would like to work for after school. And one of the companies is W/S out of Denver, since the majority of posts here are positive for this company. I live in Cheyenne and don’t have space to keep a trailer (maybe at a friend’s house who lives in the County), but a tractor could fit in my driveway alongside of my camper trailer.

We just talked about that today. Truck stays at terminal during hometime. If your load gets you by the house so be it.

Unless your home terminal is Phoenix, no room there at all. This according to one of the guys that work at the terminal.

All weather conditions clothing your clothes for about 7 days bring you school binder or whatever you used in school bring your road atlas, be sure it is a commercial truck one, when you are there you will have a car that you and your classmate can take to Wal Mart or to dinner in, you will get $400 while you are there in increments and I used that to get the other thngs I needed. Hope This helps. TD24
