That is very good if you lie enough some pin heads will believe your rants, Mulroney brought in the HST, the Liberals for the bad did start paying off the deficit. and had a surplus that Harpo squandered immediately, He is #1 in deficit spending in all of Canadian politics and he did it so fast. You must be proud!

I am sure spending a lot of money looking like he is some kind of big player in the world stage then getting kicked to the sideline in the UN, Hay Portugal is a major player, they must be special, or is Harpo just a JOKE

Stopped by the Chevrolet Dealership yesterday, for a look at the new Silverado 2011, 1500 pickup. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new "feel" before they become extinct...

The salesman (a young man wearing a "vote for Ignatieff" lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options.. The seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat. Feeling like messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a Conservative truck.

Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Conservative truck. I explained that if it were a Liberal truck, the seats would blow smoke up your ### year-round.

I had to walk back to the dealership. #### guy had no sense of humor.

 

Just like the Conservative party it has been instrumental in the creation and shaping of Canada.

Two major things are that the Liberals did for Canada was that they pushed for the Statute of Westminster and the patriation of the Canadian constitution and the creation of Canada's Charter of Rights.

Both parties have done plenty good and plenty negative in this country both recent and in the past.

 

Nobody in Canada doesn't know about the adscam. Or the wasted money on the registry. Whether you support it or not the money spent on it was retarded. There is the constant corruption from within the Liberal party. Then they have a succession of poor leadership choices. Dion was not leadership material and neither is Ignatief. The campaign they are running is ridiculous. YET....Steven Harper in three tries is no closer to winning a majority. This to me is more of a story than Ignatiefs purely inept leadership and piss poor campaign.

There is no way I am voting for either one of these two parties. I have had enough of both of them. For the first time in my life I am ready to give somebody totally different a real shot at it.

Harper has not been doing a good job. We have seen the country bleed jobs to other countries, and the deficit rise to the biggest it has ever been. He tells you we are doing good but the facts say something different. He promised transparency and accountability in government yet we have a government now that is more secretive than any in history and every time there needs to be some accountability there is some "creative" politics being played that seems to avoid any form of accountability.

The Conservatives have created a divide in this country. They have created an us vs. them atmosphere much like in the US. I blame the liberals for this. I think that the Liberals basic governing ideologies are those of Canadians. They support business and are socially responsible. This is why the Liberal's have been in office more than any other party, in any other democratic country ever. But Canadians hate them now. 20% popularity is likely the lowest they have ever seen.

After this election Ignatief will be turfed as party leader. If Harper fails to get a majority he will be gone too.
