Hi all, I need some advice, my taco stoped working, and i like to see what RPM im doing, can anyone tell me where to start looking (M11 in a kenworth). my guess is that the taco runs off the flywheel ring gear sensor but not sure about that, also is there a inline fuse for the taco? really just guessing here! and need some guidance.

AT, I think he means tach... -
ohhhhh lol haha. Ya if its anything like a car it'll have a cable going to the transmission. That is if it isnt electronic

I thought he was referring to the mexican food "Taco", my favorite.

ok more info required, not sure what you guys call them in the USA but here in oz the tachometer the thing that tells ya the engine revolutions per minute or RPM, are refered to as the "taco". must say you lot where quick to respond and i enjoyed the laugh

Follow the cable from your Tach (taco haha) to your transmission, see if its broken, came out...etc.
If there is only wires comeing out of the back then it is electronic and is powered by your ECU which gets its info from a sensor, in that case you might need to change the sensor.
