They didn't give us one. most people got it at the Wilco when we went to cash our t check. it's 9.99 for the plain paper one, forget what the laminated one is.

Someone's gonna send me one if I want it. I might just do that now.

Since I'll be operating out of the Dalton terminal, I heard from a trainee here that I might be east coast solo. Is there no option for 48 state solo or can I actually choose that?

Didn't give me one, had to get one to bring to orientation. They do give a truckstop guide though.

You can choose 48 states, but if you're out of Dalton, chances are you're doing east coast from everything I've heard.

Might have a better chance to start east coast and move on to 48 states when you've proven your worth?

Just got out of school and we got the truckstop guide, no atlas. There is a "gift box" at the end that mostly includes a few of the things you'll need as a new driver, but not the actual atlas... which, really, is a good choice, because an atlas is a pretty personal choice. Do you want laminated? Paper? Detailed, city-by-city?

If anyone wants the full list of what I was told to bring, let me know. I don't mind sharing.

Yeah, I guess I could stick to the east for awhile and then move out west. I guess it all depends on what they say and such.

you can ask, but it will mainly depend on what trucks are availible. And they REALLY need drivers on the east coast so you might not even get the option...
