We are picking up a load in Westminster, MD... heading to SLC on Wednesday - probably will get pulled by the yard - if anyone is going to be there - maybe we can say HEY in the 'cafe' :D

ahhh boy... I answered the phone today and caller ID showed a Phoenix, AZ number which is where the regional manager for CPC logistics has his office.

Me: Hello? *expecting CPC logistics to call**
Caller: This is XXXXXX with Swift Transportation recruiting calling.

    LOL

thanks! I filled an application for them the other day. Im hoping CPC logistics come through... they handle the walgreens fleet and since i worked for walgreens before I know where all the stores are in the East Bay and know how their receiving area is and works. It'll be cake for me...lol it seem there are a bunch of jobs in the Bay Area you look for it.

I will consider becoming a Swiftie IF they put me on flatbed. I actually want to get out of the truck just so I dont look like some of those guys in the truck stops...lol

I am driving my DM crazy trying to keep me rolling and in a specified area...Well I think I am anyway.. I am in the area, but it's tough to tell if he's going crazy or that his natural state.. :biggrin_2552:

Sometimes you get a DM who really does look out for his drivers..

How much are all you company drivers getting dinged for "excess idle" charges? I am furious right now!:biggrin_25510: I got hit with $263.97 in charges this week! :biggrin_25521: What am I supposed to do if the bunk heater only blows cold air? I was up in Minnesota,Iowa ect. for the most part and even my -10 degree sleeping bag couldn't warm me up in the mornings after I crawled out to have coffee. I really did try to not use it much as I had already been dinged for nearly the same amount a few weeks prior. :biggrin_2553: I guess I should be willing to become a walking popsicle...:biggrin_25513: :biggrin_25513: Do other companies do this?
