    I have drove a cat and cummins alike that had that real loud sweet sounding spool once you would hit the high side of the trans and wind it up. Not sure if its a certain brand or style but neither my 3406 cat or n14 cummins has one and I want one...Bad.. hah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q0dr3Fzc2A Kinda like the one found in this vid..

    Thats one NON DRIVING SOB in that vid. If that was my truck and I caught them driving it like that I would beat the living crap out of them then fire'em.

    I agree with 379 pete, that sucker needs to be yanked out of that cab and taught how to 'drive' a truck. I bet he will need a new trans and rear ends before too long.

    oh and on my m11s and l10 with holset turbos they whistle real loud in the high end. Holset turbos are the best for whistle in my book.

    Loud turbos go right along with loud jake brakes... and say "look at me, I have a short (male gentalia)"...

    I used to run loud exhaust when I was a kid, then I grew up and relaized that it wakes people up, annoys the heck out of people, and just plain scares old ladies... and that's not cool.

    The truck in the video has no mufflers, that's why you hear the turbo, guys like that are why there are "NO JAKE BRAKE" laws popping up everywhere.......

    I hear the turbo on my 3406E CAT just fine, but I don't get on it all the time like that guy, it just burns alot of fuel.
