I wouldn't even bother with the CDL. Hit the lots when you pull into truckstops for your 10 hour. Plenty of switch hitting truckers, so the market for male lot lizards is booming!

Take a look at your hobbies and interests. Determine what you enjoy doing... then see if they could be turned into money making opportunities while on the road.
It seems like everyone has services to perform (lot lizards notwithstanding) or something to sell at truck stops advertising on Ch 19. Any interest there? -

What you might consider doing is a web search for "at home businesses". Most at home businesses are done via online and you could get online service. -
I have a friend that can teach you to pull $200-600 out of the market in a few hours work each morning....
It is what I will be studying in my off time.
