I used Speedco and was OK with them. One time they forgot to grease a few fittings. You have to watch them carefully. They do try to upsell you. Cat filters are more, obviously. I would have said show me how low the tranny was.

Speedco helps to keep me sober!!!!
They can check and air 18 tires in less than 30 mins while if I was home it would take me all weekend and at least a case and a half of beer.
Think God I have a Gulf Coast Oil filter.......wal-mart Shell 15w40 12.50 gal x 3 and my oil change is done.
SHC, scatruck, Sneaquie and 1 other person Thank this. -
They dont wipe the grit and dirt off the zerks they just shoot that right up in with the grease. It takes me all of 15 minutes to crawl under there and grease it myself. I can do an oil change, fuel filter swap in an hour. Do it in my driveway without making a mess. Cost me an hour and a half of my time plus $160 for oil/filters. Saves a $100... I used to use them but not anymore.. Now $10 for them to put 105psi in 10 tires aint bad but I usually do that myself also..
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -

Off topic here, but this is what I use on my Volvo. 780 D12 I haven't changed oil in about nine months. Close to 80,000 miles on the oil. If you want save money on you'er oil change invest on oil vapor systems.

Last winter it was too cold for me to feel like changing my bypass filterand the main filter...it turned out to be $200 to change my bypass filter (I supplied it) grease the truck and change my main oil my main oil filter and 2 fuel filters w/ a $30 upgrade for 3 Cat filters...that's with 1 freaking gallon of Rotella sythetic....since then ill do it myself.
-
Kinda off topic here but you do know that Rotella synthetic your using aint a true synthetic oil? Its a mineral oil refined down a little more. IMO its not worth the extra cost.
-
I have been looking at getting a Gulf Coast system myself. Where did you mount the tank on your truck?
-
The previous owner of my truck used to take it to a Speedco near St. Louis, MO & said the same thing about greasing the truck. Said he would regrease it after getting home 100 miles north. After he told me that I never went there. Figure if you are greasing a truck, you're already dirty & might as well change the oil/filters as well.
