Not sure about the Regulations (red) book but you do need the Emergency Response book (yellow/ orangish book) and its a good practice to put the Bill of Lading in that book at the corresponding page of the guide section (orange section) for the material you are hauling. I always carry all 3 books. (Green, red and yellow/orangish)SHC and Skunk_Truck_2590 Thank this. -
I thought I had mne in here with me but I guess not. Im guessing you can buy them at a truckstop?

You should be able to and yes you have to have them within reach of the drivers seat just like your bills

Echoing the "have to have the little orange bible" sentiment.
Also, I believe if your company pulls Haz, they're obligated to furnish you a copy of said orange bible.
I could be wrong on that, but I don't think I am. I doubt it would fly as an excuse for why you don't have one in the truck, though. -
Yeah I'm not into excuses. My luck of course, I stopped at a pilot fueled got a shower and looked for the book and they don't have them.
