I came out after Easter home time last Friday. Got 2100 miles up to Oregon, back to Lathrop, then the trip to Phoenix.
Could have done better, but the Friday load turned into and all day affair, reworked twice. Burned up my 14, then had to spend my Saturday clock to get the load to Oregon, instead of being positioned to drop first thing Saturday.
Unloaded this morning at the receiver in Mira Loma and got a t call from the yard going to NM. In Winslow for the night, dorp tomorrow. See what happens from there.
Good night from...

Hunner, you now have the right to refuse a load for any, or no reason at all. I don't suggest doing this on a regular basis, but that option is given to L/Os. I recently refused a load going to Fry's in Tolleson, AZ on the grounds that it takes all day for them to unload. I know this about that receiver from personal experience...and a recent post from another driver for an entirely different company confirmed that nothing has changed in the past year. So I refused to go to that customer. My time is worth more than that.
Yep. E-logs. New QCs. Knew it wouldn't be long. L/Os and O/Os are supposed to be getting them starting August. I need to locate the docket number from when Prime sued and won the right to move a truck 2 miles before the log kicked you over to driving. Some customers have such a large facility that you can easily burn .7 mile just going around the building.
Oh, yeah. Spent the night in Caldwell, ID. Be heading to Sumner later. Maybe.Hamshoe Thanks this. -
