Go inside and talk to Grace.... I never deal with the load planners at all!!!! She will find you an empty right away. I know of 4 places in Indy that have empties waiting for you. Such as the Kroger warehouse down the street, Family Dollar up in Marion and also Nestle then as a last resort, Con-Agra in Lebanon.

So I take it the load in Indy was a LIVE LOAD and not a pre-loaded? Because if they can't locate you a trailer for your pre-loaded trailer in time, then you can just go get your load as usual w/o a trailer and they will have to send someone to stage a trailer for you later on.

Like I said, give it a a few months to learn the system, customers, and lanes. It will be well worth it once you do, just takes time.

I did end up finding an empty in the yard. the yard layout was never explained to us as to where empty trls are and loaded trl's.

I booked a load from danville, IL to edwardsvile, il and then another right here to new caney TX for monday. then i'm going home for a reset and to find some houston to dallas and return freight or something like that

Thanks guys. Good stuff! So tell me, is $800 per day reasonable, as they advertise???

Oh and tell me about the transition from Landstar to SNI. Did they make you quit Landstar first before you could go to the SNI Orientation?

Do you see alot of short loads (50 to 300miles) running around atlanta. Whats the pay range?

I was with LS only for a few months two years ago. I've been running produce with my own trl for a broker for the last year and a half. I think you can do $800 a day no problem, I did like $470 for 190mi yesterday. tonight i'm picking up a preload to tx for $1300 and i'll be there in 24hr. there is mostly short loads though on this deal

yes I'm still in the LM truck. Want to buy it? a want another pete

I am back to the Choice program starting Onday, and I was on it for 3yrs and I can tell you, everything south pays much less with SNI that others. They are primarily a midwest company and their freight prices show it. I am guessing you will see stuff around $1.25-$1.45 and all will be either going to NY/NJ/PA or westward...... IL/IN/WI is the high paying frieght areas with them.
