I am new here and was wondering if someone can give me some info. Does swift run paperless logs? Do they offer ezpass, pike, com data cards etc. Also about orientation in Greer,SC. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you....

From my understanding, some of the trucks have paperless logs. When I worked for them, we fueled with a Comdata card, but they had to authorize every single transaction prior. So, when you got your load info, you'd get a message telling you where to fuel, and how much to take on. For example, they might route you through a terminal and tell you to fuel up there, or you might get a message like "Pilot #whatever, Dandridge, TN, 120 gal", etc. You could have your pay put on your Comdata card if you wished (I wouldn't recommend it, personally).
Not sure about the EZPASS. If you want PrePass for the scales, you get that on your own.
Greer is a decent terminal. If you're running flatbeds, you'll see it quite a bit. Less politicized than, say, Memphis or Phoenix, but you still need to CYA while you're in that terminal. If you are a flatbedder, and you drop a trailer in that yard to go, for example, take your truck into the shop, keep an eye on your trailer - the DMs there will take that trailer off of you in a second and put it on one of their drivers, and their drivers won't pay any mind if you have tarps, chains, etc. on that trailer - they'll either take it with them, or take it off the trailer and set it on the ground, even if it is an obvious indicator that that trailer is in use by someone else. -
Ok thank you!!!!

Thank you for the info very helpful.....

I see you're in NC. They used to have a terminal in Eden (off of NC14, just south of Danville, VA), which is the one I ran out of. But that one's closed down now, and you'll be set up to where either Greer or Richmond will be your home terminal. I can't recall off the top of my head where Fleetwood is in the state, so I can't say for certain which one.

Yes recruiter told me greer would be home terminal. Fleetwood is nw near boone,nc close to virginia line.

Have you been to the terminal yet?

No waiting on recruiter. They are doing dac dmv background check. I assume you are still with swift?
