    @RT,

    They are sending me to Ocala when I am with yard training where my dad will have my car brought up (if he does not, he will be paying for a bus ticket to melbourne). I am not sure who will drive it but my money is on my sister. She loves to drive "Faith" and hopefully she will bring Fred up as well.

    KH, sounds like you are motivated! Keep it up, brother!! This is it! Third time is the charm! I wanna see you solo in a couple months, criss-crossing the country...or ######## about sitting in a truck stop waiting for a load like everyone else.

    Very true my friend. what gets me motivated is people who make fun of me and tell me I belong on disability. My speech that describes what I want:

    I have a goal. My goal is to obtain employment with Swift Transportation and do it Swift's way. Another goal is to become independent from my parents. I love them and cherish them a lot. Without them I would not be here. I cry as I write this as my dad told me he would never give up on me when asked if he would. My mom and dad are my biggest cheerleaders and love me. Driving a truck independently will teach me how to be more self sufficient and humbleness.

    Good day and Happy mothers day from Millington TN,

    Well going Greyhound was a pleasant experience. A bad event turned into a good one. My bus left an hour late and made a half a dozen stops. I met a few people and had some interesting times.

    Anyways my big event was meeting rotten at Steak N Shake at 4am. He is my 4th TTR forum met. Very nice guy and hopefully he got my special package I sent via e-mail. I'll let him post the "heres your sign photo" as he has my permission. Right now I am getting settled and I am very tired. If you all do not hear from me, Jimdriv3r anbd Injun have my exclusive permission to call me and my parents 24/7 if they are worried.

    Right now flooding is somewhat bad around here. My heart goes out to the families affected by this.

    I woke up early this morning after a 12hr rest. I felt good and excited. The physical went good and that is all we did until 11am. We then were told where we would be taking our CDL testing at the support sites if we were not staying in Memphis. I will get bussed to Ocala. We then did the contracts singed. We then got our DOT physicals back and went back to the hotel.

    All went well until I was on way to get my groceries from Kroger. I heard "the group" referring to me as "Rain main" just as I was stepping out of my room. what they said was "Thank goodness Rainman has no room mate and has to room alone. and They also were saying "oh he got his mom a 50 cent mothers day card from the dollar store". I asked if they had problem with that. When they left in the white early series nissan pick up (the 90's style found with a stick, two upfront and three in the back in the bed), they gave me strange looks." Now I did tell a couple people I was autistic because I am proud of it. This is my diary and proof of people bullying me and I will not tolerate it. I will to speak to my classroom instructor and go from there. Am I happy? No as I am here to learn and not to deal with people insulting me. I can stand being called four eyes but discriminatory stuff: no sir no mam.

    I called Injun and Jimdriv3r for advice. My dad was also notified. I just felt bad and down but know I did nothing to provoke them. I can not tell the difference between a joke (i serious doubt it was) and rely on others for that. The good news is that Little Caesars gave me two bottles of Sierra Mist for free as no one wanted them. I will update tomorrow. Good night.

    Day one is in the books and it sounds like you did well, that's great.
    It's too bad guys were making jokes, but please look beyond that and concentrate on why you are there. I know it must be difficult, but you're better than that. Know you are better than that.
    Continue with your studies and concentrate on the task at hand.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

    The words are hurtful, KH, but like Gears said, keep the goal in mind and give it your all. People who say things like that do it to make themselves feel better. You're better than that, you feel good about yourself.

    I apologize I haven't answered your calls. I'm working nights and I've been sleeping when you've called.

    The Challenger and Gears Thank this.
