It won't work - the first time, but if we keep striking for longer and longer times; from 1 hour to 1 week and everybody will notice.
Better yet everybody has got to start parking their truck until we all agree to run for X amount of dollars per mile - start with $3.00/mile to get the attention.
Maybe no strike? Just demand $3/mile on a specific day? Let the Bottom Feeders rot in $%$#. Just as a side question; how many days do you suppose it would take for the BF's to die off and go away?
I see this every year, but hey I'm game - park it for an hour, call the family, play fetch with the dog, go for a walk. F'em.

I have been working with David Webb on Sirius/XM patriot on a one hour pullover May 23rd from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EDT. Next week a press release goes out to major media, and Hannity may get involved too. The point of this first stoppage, only for an hour, is not to disrupt anything, but to be SEEN. If the news media thinks we are serious, people who count WILL notice. They know we vote. They know the people in cars driving past vote, and the people in cars driving past are PISSED about $4.00 gasoline! Everyone can pull over for an hour. No one will get fired, or lose any freight. Picture driving down the interstate with hundreds of trucks pulled off on the shoulder. We may get four wheelers joining in just for the heck of it. This really CAN work if we get together! Listen to FOX talk on Monday, Brian Kilimeade and friends. David Webb had me on his show Saturday afternoon talking this pullover up, and there should be ample press about it next week. I'm asking for your help. Believe me, the administration is worried. Obama announced today he was extending oil leases (which doesn't really do any good, because permits are what the drilling companies need) so he could look like he was doing something. Make some noise, it will be fun! Join us for an hour, what can it hurt?

Trucker Pullover Protest Against Rising Diesel Prices
New York NY – May 20, 2011 – On May 23rd, 2011 from 1:00-2:00pm Eastern truckers are being asked to pull their trucks to the side of the road for one hour to gain the attention of Washington and focus it on soaring fuel prices. Over regulation, the lack of new exploration, and the lack of refining capacity near Cushing, OK are believed to be responsible for the higher diesel prices.
A caller to SiriusXM Patriot's David Webb Show, on April 23, 2011 suggested a one hour demonstration protesting higher diesel prices. From that call, plans for a pullover have begun. As higher diesel prices fluctuate and have soared above $4.19 per gallon, truck drivers and companies are finding it increasingly difficult to deliver freight without increasing rates. Increased rates for freight, increases the price of everything else from milk to toilet paper.
Organizers hope that a highly visible pullover of one hour will be enough to put pressure on Washington to ease regulations. When trucks don't move, nothing moves. Food, fuel, household items and raw materials for manufacturing are all carried over the nation’s highways by truck. It is hoped that a single hour will focus enough attention on the issue that longer pullover protests will be unnecessary.
SiriusXM Radio Personality and Tea Party leader David Webb has set up a website for truckers interested in communicating with other truckers about politics, the tea party, and trucking issues. It was on this site that the idea of a “Pullover Protest” was first mentioned. More information about the protest, as well as information about Tea Party Truckers in general can be found at the site: www.teapartytrucker.org.

Make a sign for your truck, like:

"WHEN I PAY MORE FOR FUEL, YOU PAY MORE FOR EVERYTHING!"

Set it all up for 3 days..... 3 days is enough to stop fuel from getting to gas stations and truck stops and after 1 or 2 days they will have dry tanks so they will loose a lot of money. Think about produce on store shelves! 3 days is about all it is good for in the store so they wont have any good produce amongst other food.

1 hour is not enough not even close and I'm going to guess that not much comes out of it.

I think if you saw everyone pulled over on the shoulders and off ramps etc. its going to get a lot of attention even by the media. The hard part is getting everyone on board.
