Now I am just the opposite.. I am so glad I am a solo driver...
7 miles to scale is a walk in the park. I go places where I have to go 40+ miles to scale. Though that T/A in Harrisburg is a real winner.. -
Have to agree with celticwolf myself. Solo all the way for me. Course, I'm just an old fart thats never been married and am pretty well set in my ways.

Ok - what is the secret of driving night shift? (yes I am going to cross post this)... The shifts we have been doing is Gary drives day and I drive night. I do 'ok', but midshift I find I need to pull over and laydown for about 30 minutes and then I'm good to go again. What are the 'tricks' to stay alert without an overload of caffein?

Yep as believe you're taking nap.. sure you are...
I take a good nap before, keep the cab cool and plenty of cold drink handy.
Stopping to pee helps wake me up. HahahaLady K Thanks this.
