What to no the scoop om pmtg, just got a call from them about a car hauling position, but have no info on this company, they said they have a northeast region ,with home for every Sunday. Also pay is paid per load, but what if there is a slow down with econo, for cars. Can anyone give me the scoop on pmtg. Besides the recruiters position. Thanks

I've been reading around myself and have already submitted my app. Just waiting for the background stuff to come back. I read a breakdown of the pay and its something in the area of 20% of the load. I don't think most of the types of cars they haul are effected much by the economy as they are for the most part high end luxury cars and you know how it is. The rich get richer. There is another thread on here regarding PMTG. I kinda take what everyone says with a grain of salt. Its all what you make of it. I've worked for companies with awful reviews on here and have never had an issue. Always made money and was treated well everywhere I've worked. I can't post the link cuz I don't have enough posts but search "PMTG - new to the company"

Yes I can give you the scoop on PMTG. They start off as seeming to be a good company but don't quit cause they'll try to blackball from other trucking jobs. If your truck breaks down they take days to repair your truck and you're not getting paid while you wait. They give you no breakdown pay. They say you make $ 50,000 the first year...not! Look at making $ 30,000. Some drivers been off for weeks because of slow production . Now back to the black balling. If you quit you could of been one of the best drivers but if a new employer wants verification on how did on that job. They slander your name defamation if character all those bad things. If had a accident and they diismisd it while you were there. Trust if you quit they put on your Daq report. Yes. All because they do t do all they say what they do for their drivers. They will send you letters of how good a driver you are and they wish they wouldn't lose you. Then when you do quit , that's when all the insults come to try and hurt from Gettiing other jobs trucking. My suggestion is go United Road. Never heard bad talk on them and they keep busy with loadsif work. PMTG is full of junk. They Appriximately a fleet if over300 trucks and over200Petcent turnover rate and the average truck is over 10 yrs old. Trust I know. My husband worked for them it happened to him.

Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Breakdowns are the main problem..their equipment is old,old and not taken care of.

Plus they're losing business to Fleetcar and others at key loading yards(curtis bay, jersey city).

They were once a good company but someone there forgot to add new trucks to the fleet, they kept the profits of course.
