one of my last conversations with him was in Jan. and we were talking about before and now, and the changes he made and had to fight for just to get it where the i/c dept. is now. let hope the new guy doesn't mess with that and back it like every other lease company. when it comes to the lease program, roehl does do better then many of the others for sure.

We are f#(k#d Eric, just wait, after seeing my outrageous repair bill I am biding my time. I still like my peeps here but this is business and I no longer feel like its a partnership. its more like let's go to work and screw the sucker. im sorry for being negative I will stop now
-
what all was on that high ### repair bill? yea i know what u mean man more and more like that everyday it seems.
-
Basically for every little thing they charged me an hour of labor, replace headlight bulb is 1 hour just little stuff that added up to a lot. They showed me a list of every repair so they were justified per our contract. But if I only did what my contract stated I would be broke and they wouldn't want me anymore! Lol I'm over my rant now and on my way to Ohio
-
wow not even TA charges an 1 hr labor to change out a headlight, only our awesome Roehl Mechs. can take an hour to change a bulb lmao!

As far as the truck is concerned we have a written contract/lease. It works both ways by limiting us, but also protecting us.
Hearing about Roehl repair, I think I'll get a dot done somewhere honest before going to them. The only work they've ever done on my truck was the quarterly inspection. The last inspection the kid tried to tell me I had a u-joint going bad and would only last another 30,000 miles. A couple of weeks later I had Freightliner do a PM and pay special attention to the u-joint. They told me it was fine and they didn't know what Roehl was talking about. Of course the kid who inspected the truck had just graduated school and only been working for Roehl for four days.
The hassle they give me to maintain their trailers, I don't want them anywhere near my truck. They told me I would have to go clear up to Wisconsin to take care of the radiator. Stoops copied my paperwork did the work and took care of it under warranty. Basically I feel like I'm on my own only with the restriction that I can't dump the carrier I pull for without giving up the truck. -
yep that is for sure, looking more and more that way on lease trucks and with the new mangement i aint seeing it get better.

I just leased onto a local company, got off over the road and honestly wont ever look back.

Well like I said they have that contract to protect them, not us. I still enjoy driving for roehl and always will but I don't think this would have happened under dans mgmt.
