i'm headed to Texas Monday, I'm assuming their gonna pull me to the yard and take my truck, as it's one of the ones being cycled out.

i'm going to miss my coloring book.

You'll get used to it. Its not so bad once you've done it a little bit. Ive been on them since late Jan and I really dont miss them except for when I have a shipper or reciever hold me for several hours. Even then I only miss them a little and Im more rested now.

I'm not sure if it is sold back to Freightliner or where it is going. I was told the truck was sold and to go to NLR to get an 012, but before that could happen I got my new gig. So instead of move into a new truck for a couple of days or a week, I just went ahead and vacated.

Sorry to hear about that Jim. Lost my dad back in 04'. It really hurt. My prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

Maverick tries to get its drivers home every weekend, tries. The closer you live to a major freight lane the better as far as getting home on the weekends. Repeat after me. . ."I will not get home every weekend." I have been held out 2 weekends this year, others have been out more. right sewerman? lol.

Tarping just takes practice and the more you do it, the quicker and better you get at it. glad you found something that worked.

On the directions that advise you, "no overnight parking", if you get to the customer and find out they do have o/n parking, send in a free form qcom msg to your fm so that could be changed for other drivers too.

    Road Boss Thanks this.

Dont think there is any time limit on how long before you are allowed to have a rider with you BUT YOU MUST HAVE A RIDER PASS FOR THEM TO BE IN THE TRUCK. AND CHILDREN MUST BE 13 OR OLDER. Since you have been approved to attend orientation, might I suggest you contact your recruiter with the time question , or any other ?s you may have, so as not to be misinformed.
