FAT people are Discriminated against at prime

Well my last words on it ironpony cause we are not going to agree on any of it.

I will live the way i want and you go ahead and live the way they tell you to live hows that.

 

I agree with you too on those figures, its not good for anyone to be over weight. But when you go to the truck stop and you see the drivers limping out of their trucks, sagging fannys, guts, arms, etc. They have back pain, trouble walking, squatting, etc. How will they do their job in 10 years? How do they get under truck and inspect the brakes? Who will be responsible when they slip off the ICC bumper because they couldn't see the step, or they get stuck on the trailer because they can't physically get down?

Over weight is not good for anyone and causes problems, but the topic of discussion here is fat truck drivers. If I had a transportation business with drivers, I want to see them working out, walking doing something and not drinking 10 bottles of soda a day. The employer and others suffer, regardless of business when people run up the cost of health care because they smoke can get cancer, or drink soda and get diabetes, or need a triple bypass because they eat McDonalds every day. Employers have to pay for that and I think some companies are going to realize, "hey, I don't want this guy driving my truck," because of the disadvantages it comes by.

And to the other guy, again what kind of grown adult talks like a middle school child and continues to bring politics in where they are not relevent? You just said his kids were mistakes. Where on earth do you come up with this? Would you go up to someones children and tell them they were mistakes? How do you even make it past a job interview? I don't see how any one can have a fair, intellectual conversation...Good day to you sir, I'm no longer responding to your posts.

 

I shouldn't but i will I never said kids were mistakes your guy obama said it. check his record on right to life laws he has tryed many times to strike down. He is the one that said it not me.

 

Politics are an every day thing its whay governs your way of life everday. no matter what it is. Its what makes the laws and regs you are required to live by everyday of your life. believe it

Now everyones that read this all knows what kind of shill game they will get if they work for PRIME.. Its sure not going to be the truth from prime so beware.

 

Shell game? They've always been straight with me. Granted, with many things it does depend very much on who you get for a fleet manager, but I've always had good luck with that.

Good - it certainly sounds as though you are just passing on no more than truckstop bovine excrement stories. I really doubt you've ever driven for Prime. Tell me? I'm a 1099 lease contractor - they "tell" me very little.

 

I'd run that question by the parents and students in the Illinois school district that now gives two choices for lunch:
1. Eat what the cafeteria serves, or
2. Go hungry.
So simple, even a caveperson could comprehend that means no more lunches from home are allowed. Lunches prepared off campus could be unhealthy.
Momma Obama was mentioned as bein' the inspiration for their decision(s).
Does indirectly involved count?
Keepin' in mind that It Takes A Village, ...... according to former co-president Hillary, it seems that our government now wants to relieve parents of their duty to feed the children, ...... physically anyway. Their tax-dollars will still be required to support the feedin' trough though, --- for substantially higher cost than was previously required, no doubt. But it'll be healthy.

The A.T.A. recently announced that it wasn't in favor of pursuing that idea at this time. Seems the major Big truck truckin' companies complain that would interfere with their ability to bargain with their shippers. They emphasized how unhealthy that would be for their company profits, and how that could have a trickle-down effect at a time when the economy can least afford it.

That all depends on how you define the words, "law" and "safety".
Also, I'm not clear on, "violate" and "don't care about", as it pertains to the subject at hand.

Why not get behind the Big trucks that might be driven by what you've described?
How fast are you drivin' out thar?

Two vehicles travelin' in the same direction at the same speed, ---
won't collide with each other. Seein' as how two matters cannot occupy the same space at the same time, --- that's a good thang, and, followin' that logic, could be considered "safe", or at least "safer".
Funny thang though, ................. them travilin' potential disasters drivin' Big trucks on the highways just lookin' for a place to happen have been pointin' out the cause and effect of split-speed limits for years, ---- but it was only heard by those with deaf ears.
If y'all ever knew how much those little 4-wheelers scare us Big trucks, you'd be surprised.

I love Ramen Noodles, and Bologna sandwiches... However I can well afford to eat whatever I want working at Prime.

If I was so poor working here, do you think I would be taking a month off to go to Europe?

 

If its such common knowledge that these trucking company's do these things How come they are still in business?. Shirley there are wage laws in this country, Why doesn't someone like OOIDA sue the hell out of em?
