Yes I drive solo...wouldn't have it any other way!!! It has a 1500 watt inverter from the factory, cruise, and xm (which all con-way trucks have, and they pay for it). They do also put teams in these trucks. It has a Maxxforce 13 engine and a ten speed trans. Runs good, drives nice.

sounds like a good deal. how long have you been with conway? how many miles do you average? home time ect sounds like a good place to start but any and all info is much appreciated. any other drivers please feel free to chime in.

I have been out solo since April 26th. Miles have been so-so, although I have to say that there is always a legit reason for it. Hometime is good, but it's hard to run lots of miles when you are highlighted for home. The other side of that is...I requested to be home certain days, and they are getting me home so I can have those exact days. Can't complain about that. My fleet manager told me that my miles are going to improve once I get back out after going home this weekend, and I absolutely trust that she is telling me the truth, I haven't been given any reasons to think otherwise. Besides all that, I got put in a brand new truck after only three weeks solo.

actually i got 3 questions, one from me, two from a friend who wants to go truckload
1st(mine) im wondering y conway doesnt have truckload bring freight our freight from far away. we got a few sub-service trucks that bring it into us instead. i was told its cheaper that way, but wouldnt it b smart to keep the money within the company, maybe someone might no
2nd do they have like an apprentice program or driving school like freight does. friend of mine jus finished my class with me but only talks about how he cant wait a year to transfer into truckload(y he got a local gig idk)
3rd, does truckload pull doubles at all
thx to whoever answers these -
2nd question they don't have a training program but they take students right out of school, they also have a list of school they will take students from, they highly recommend Crowder College close to Joplin they have the best course in the nation.
3rd no doubles for T/L we pull the 53 Ft-ers. Hope this helps.ACH1130 Thanks this.
