    I'm home. got here yesterday after delivering in Orlando at 5am. I'm home til Wednesday. I'll have an explanation why I'm home for 5 days next week, in the mean time my wife and I are getting on the bike and riding down to the Keys for a few days. Be safe and God Bless.

    Spending the night at the Bordentown Petro with a morning delivery in Morrisville PA then hopefully home for a day or two. My New Orleans delivery proved to be interesting as it was at a city park in an old residential section that was flooded out by Hurricane Katrina. Anyone who's been to NO knows how narrow the streets are there and this place was no exception. I had to back into a side street and up to a storage container to get unloaded. I'll post a couple of pics when I get home.

    Here are two pics from the New Orleans delivery. It wasn't terribly difficult (some truckstops are worse), but it was interesting and I had to have two people stop traffic to allow me to back in. Oh yeah, that main street also has a trolley that runs in the median. The worst part was all the low branches in this neighborhood, as it's an old section of the city.

    Thanks! Once I park the truck and hit the off duty button on the E-Log every minute of every day is devoted to my wife, home, dogs and myself.

    You heard correctly. My 5 days of suspension ends today. I have to reload in Jacksonville in the morning going up to Atlanta then deadheading to Piedmont SC for a drop and hook going to Mountaintop, Pa. I guess if anyone gets a suspension it should be at the house with the truck up the street like I did. Not to make light of it, but another 5 days would have done just fine for me. In any event, it's back to work.
