I had almost 3 yrs tank and I still had to take 3 training trips to get certified for trimac
I'd call Houston and see what they say if the terminal your talking to doesn't not know about it . Most terminals have a on site driver trainer and that's the reason for it .. ( the training program )
We even have one at the union terminal in Calvert -
Also what terminal you speaking of ?
Reason I ask is Trimac has 2-3 affiliates if it's not a Trimac Owned terminal and one of the 2-3 affiliates they may in fact not have a training program . If that is the case I'd look for a Trimac owned facility ... -

Leaving out today for a short trip to St. Louis ( dedicated ) Sunday 9 am delivery trip back to Calvert then on the board for Monday hopefully a good trip comes out of it ...
Glad to get back on the road -
( unless it's one of the affiliates like I said ) there are 2 maybe 3 nation wide that are affiliates of Trimac . Not sure there rules as far as training goes but 100% Trimac will train you tanks
They don't train in driving ( like a school for a greenhorn ) not really sure what the requirements are for exp I'd say at least 1-2 yrs
But like I also said call the corporate offices or the recruiting hotline for Trimac they Can give you tons of details as far as training goes for tanks . But I know 100 heck I know 150% they will train you in
LIQUID TANKS
PM me I'll be glad to give you the National Recruiting Number -
Anyone who is thinking about going to Trimac and have any questions about the company on either the IC or Company driver side feel free to ask your questions I'll be glad to try and answer them for you ... Or another Trimac driver will or can chime in also
