Mobility?

ive been kind of wondering about something like a goped, but i dont know if itd be legal / acceptable to haul it. they do run on gas, they make electric ones that are uber expensive. i read in one of the posts that someone takes a caollapsible bicycle with them, which wouldnt be bad either, but i think theyre also fairly expensive.

if only i could skateboard.

 

I wouldn't try to haul around anything more than a bicycle, and probably wouldn't even do that. About the only place to store it is behind the cab and it can be a pain to store there.

If you are going to be sitting for a day or so somewhere, you can always call Enterprise and rent a car. They will bring the car to you

 

Even during a longer layover I didn't want to crawl out of the sleeper except for bathroom/food/shower time. But thats just me being my lazy self.

 

I hear that. I have a crazy metabolism, so I have to eat constantly just to keep up. Running the skateboard I got my exersize in for sure. There are little tricks to getting some easy exersize though bubba. When you stop at a truck stop, park as far away as you can. The walk will do you good. Get some arm curling weights, you can use them in your sleeper. You can do sit ups in the sleeper. There are tons more things that can help out. Just be creative.

 

My boyfriend has his bike with him. He has it up on his top bunk.

 

Hold it. if you are listing yourself as a trucker wife in your profile, what is this 'trucker boyfriend" stuff? Come on, give us all the details here and explain how you work the scheduling so that one goes out on the road and the other is in town. Inquiring minds want to know!!! LOL!
