My husband and I just started teaming w/ Pam Dedicated and we are getting 6000 + mi. per week averaging 2200/wk b4 taxes. I dont know however if Transport treats their folks as well. I've heard dedicated does better by their people than transport. Sure we have a few bad times, ie: we sat 3 days in Laredo over the 4th of July but they put us up in a hotel w/ free beer, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and lemonade (lol). We just make the best of it. In the meantime, if we are 12 hours early for a load delivery we find something touristy to do. We've seen the Alamo and done the Riverwalk in San Antonio went to caverns etc. I dont sit at a pilot and dwell on hours sitting... I tour the city. I've saw alot of things and enjoy a few hours of sightseeing every now and then. Not often do we sit long though. A fellow we schooled w/ went to transport and his experience hasnt went as well sadly enough. It has to be different though when two incomes from one truck go into the same household. We are making some really decent money for just coming out of school. Best of luck to yas and safe travels.

Anyhow...I had a crappy driver trainer and I know when I get back into training (a different company no doubt)....that I will probably get another shmuck, BUT...I think it's just the luck of the draw...not everyone is going to be great...I had fellow students who LOVED their trainer....? -
Anyway....how are y'all doing? Have they kept you rolling? -

I went to school at ASU Newport and my trainer is going to pick me up on Aug 6. Cant wait.

Congrats...Just keep your mind on the game and you will do fine. Good luck on getting a good trainer. It really makes all the difference.

Hello MissMeloche... My husband and I have been teaming for about a month and a half now and we are quite enjoying ourselves. You ask if they are keeping us rolling and the answer is YES. (thus the reason it took me awhile to get back on this site.... we have been busy...lol I was worried about that when I first started out but we are running 5-6K mi. a week and making bout 2K/wk b4 taxes most weeks. Yeah we have our moments but just make the best of it. ie: 4th of July stuck in Laredo 3days.... we just vacationed at a hotel w/ free beer, lemonade, nachos, hot dogs and popcorn all of it pd by the company. I strongly advise a good relationship w/ your driver manager. Goodluck. I'll be in til Saturday
