Hello all,
Just curious on what your thoughts are on the current trucking industry. I've searched and read posts but they were a bit out dated so I was wondering if anything has changed.
If there was one thing that you can change in the industry what would it be? A broad question I know-but it can range from actual Design to better fuel efficiency.
Thanks,

Kick the government out of it. That'll allow a whole slew of problems to solve themselves.

One word. RESPECT. If everyone had respect, not only for others, but for themselves, it would go a long way toward making this industry a whole lot better.trucker_101 and 123456 Thank this.

ok, so you either want to know the thoughts on the current industry way of things, or you want to know how we feel about fuel efficiency...your sign in name speaks volumes...DESIGN......why would you want to know how we feel about the industry, when all you really want to know is what fabric we want on our seats..???
no need to be "broad range" this is not a very good example of what you want to know from us.
please get to your SPECIFIC POINT of this thread... -
Sorry I do not mean to be confusing! I do not want to know what fabric you want on your seats. I was just curious on what the biggest problem was in the current trucking industry right now...

Safety people, ie FMCSA, DOT etc saying "this new rule will improve safety" when in truth is is just another REVENUE enhancement for the states and feds!

thank you for your responses...seems everyone has a different opinion! Would love to see some more if possible.
For me I feel as if the Automotive Industry is well advanced for its time, even within the past 5 years we've come a long way but as far as the Trucking Industry goes, not much has changed and its very unfair. You, the truckers are actually one of the most important drivers in America and the backbone of this economy and you all deserve the latest technology that coincides with the Automotive Infrastructure.
