E-Log vs. Log Books???

My biggest fear is that the eLogs makes drivers lazier. Too few understand the HOS, and the eLog takes away the drivers need to learn them any better. When the computer craps out you're still required to run a paper log. Might be best if you still know how to do it.

I love my e-log and don't ever want to go back to paper logs! I've noticed that I actually have more drive time than on my old paper logs where your rounding up and all that crap!

good point hadn't thought of that. you are very right Meltom and I agree with you 100%. as much as I love technology, I also have a great appreciation for its flaws and how misunderstood AND abused it can be ...
