Yeah I drove up there last night and stayed at the Chevron station on the corner where you turn to go to Blvd. Shoulda just gone on up the 1.5 miles and stayed in their parking lot! :yes2557:

Made the last 700 miles segment of my trip yesterday, 3 days from SFS to Atmore, AL...Delivered last night...Woke up this morning and found a tire repair store about 30 miles away as one of my drives was cupped to the point my truck vibrated terribly...While there, we noticed the other needed replacing too so I now have 2 new steers!...WHILE they were fixing those, one of my batteries started smoking, we took off the cover and noticed 2 were swelled, they replaced both of those as well...That's 3 new batteries in 2 weeks...I expect the last to go soon....

Picked up in Demopolis, AL for delivery tomorrow morning in Thomaston, GA then off to Dalton to pick up load for Hebron, KY waiting for me there then home for weekend since it's Father's Day...At Pilot in La Grange, GA right now...

Over 4000 miles from the 8th to 15th!!!!!...I think I'm going to request more westerly trips now that the weather is nicer...

Here is a video of a dust devil I drove thru the other day, they pack more punch than I expected...

You need to have your alternator and charging system checked, overchargeing is what causes a battery to swell and explode, nothing else. You need to get that fixed or you'll just keep wasteing batteries.

Don't they go bad after time?...I watch my readout on the dash religiously, it never varies...They're just old batteries, probably originals...

No, batteries dont do that when they get old lol. Old batteries fail to hold a charge. And become more and more useless over time.

Your alternator would still put out the same Voltage, its just continuing to charge the batteries.....

Trust me GET IT CHECKED! You've lucked out TWICE on these batteries, if one of those explodes you DO NOT want to be ANYWHERE near that truck!:biggrin_2558:

In Great Falls,MT came up from Helena this morning, but they rejected my trailer, told me to get it washed out, so I did, but it still wasnt good enough, so had to go back to Helena and wait for the shop to get me a better trailer ready. I load in the morning going to Hagerstown, MD for Monday, so I still have plenty of time.

Still in Vegas. Went to load at Pepsi earlier today, load had been set for 8 am, resched for 8 pm. Go back at 7:30 give the new guy at the gate the p/u number the old guy at the gate (from earlier) said I was picking up. Get loaded up with 44k of water and go back to gate to get bol. BOL says El Paso.....load assignment says Salt Lake City, with a PU# (don't know about ya'll but to me PU# is Pick Up number) and a PO# (PO to me is Purchase Order). Went to send my depart shipper and notice that the BOL # matches the PO#.....yeah, now I wait till the am to straighten it out with BFD. :biggrin_2552:

Dropped off in Thomaston, GA at 8am, picked up in LaGrange, GA at 10am, dropped that off at Dalton, where I sit waiting for truck 2014 to come in with my load to go to KY so I can go home...KH2 is the best, she worked hard for me again to make sure I got home...I can't say enough good things about her and how nice it is working with her...

Anyone know who's in 2014 and/or have their phone number, I'd like to get an ETA...
