If that is the Bill that used to work for the Pumpkin he really does need it. I had to spend five days in a truck with him when he was a new dispatcher at Roehl. Actually he seems like a pretty cool guy.

 

Those are really easy to secure. I don't know why guys have problems with skidded coils other than being too lazy to throw a couple more straps including a brake strap.

 

With the fatal flatbed accident last week and now this one, I would hope that it might make some of the flat drivers stop and think before they leave the shipper....Make sure the securement is right and keep your speed down on curves.

Just checking in to see how jmartin75 and treefork were doing with orientation. I think you must be with a trainer now. I was suppossed to be in the 13th orientation but my testing for my cdl was pushed back because my school has a limited # of trucks. Anyway I passed and will be doing my orientation on the 20th. driving up from georgia. Let me know how it goes with the trainers.thanks

It does suck. It happend south of Fairfield IL, you can google it and find the news article on it.

 

That is truly awful, I know we've come close in the past. Was it an experienced driver?

 

I'm guessing not..only 24.
