You're screwed
-
One solution, wait 10 years! What was the cold medicine? Marijuana PM?
-
Screwed yourself. Even the mom n pops have to do randoms on employees. Refuse there, same result.
Now, in your mind, perhaps you didn't refuse. It may have just slipped your mind. Or you felt insulted by the request for a repeat test and therefore, justified to just say no. Or, as suggested earlier, you didn't just say no when it mattered. Like when you bought that OTC cold medicine over in Washington. You know. The stuff you go to the pharmacy counter and sign for. It is OTC, but it contains codeine...a narcotic that will show up as a metabolite of morphine. Whatever happened, you were offered a shot at clearing the air...er.....the urine...and didn't take that opportunity. Therefore, you failed.
You won't be getting that cleared anytime soon.Working Class Patriot and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
I'd be interested to see what Swift put on his employment history with DriverFacts as opposed to DAC/HireRight. I know Tom had completely different information on his DAC report than he had on his DriverFact report from Swift. DHE used his DriverFact report to hire him, but then the report said, "Rehire: Upon Review". LOL
So the OP might stand a chance at getting hired by someone who doesn't use these tools to hire. And I agree with everyone, you don't refuse to retest, that's the same as an admittance of guilt. Sad that they have to require drug testing, but the few screwed it up for the rest.Injun Thanks this. -
forgot to mention, its not on my dac that i refused, they just put i failed it,after i had already spoken to the doc,and was told, no drugs, then i get a call days later saying it was inconclusive, come on,if it was dirty,it was dirty, and i hadnt taken,or smoked anything.I took the test, did what was asked of me,u tell me its good, then its not,i felt i shouldnt had to do it again is all im saying
-
Yep, that's the consequence of that action
-
DK, you were given a chance to retest.
You failed to retest.
Testing, no matter how many times they ask you, is a condition of employment.
Failure to test, no matter how many times they ask, is grounds for immediate dismissal.
You screwed yourself, and have only yourself to blame, not SWIFT. -
Refusing the test, for whatever reason, is a testing failure.
" i needed to test again,so i didnt"
Why not? It's water under the bridge now... find a new line of work, but still.. why didn't you take the second test?
