Not to take anything from this wonderful site which I have spent countless hours on, but I am to the point now I am reading posts/threads 2+ years old. I have got a ton of good info here. What I am wondering is what are some other good truck driving resources for information? I am a magazine reader, be it print or web magazines. I like reading articles. I'd also like to learn more about the trucks themselves. When I wanted to learn more about classic cars petersons hot rod was there.

I know there has to be other good online resources to supplement these wonderful forums. I am bored to death waiting for my trainer....need input

Thanks, wasn't really looking for other message boards. This forum has everything I need in that regard. I was looking for stuff like overdrive magazine (been there for 2 hours now hehe). Thanks for the links.

    Rerun8963 Thanks this.

Heavy Duty Trucking is also a magazine you can look into, but as Rerun posted, they will have essentially the same info.

Another good website i found was

    http://www.truckingtruth.com/

Main reason im suggesting it is the trucker blogs, tons of trucker storys that cover everything... nightmare docks, trucking industry future outlooks, all sorts of articles in the trucking blog section.

EDIT: I also have been using the site to grind all the CDL tests available.

SUGGESTION: why doesn't this website have CDL practice tests available?

yes, i do believe to link to another message board is against the rules, as sometimes it can be taken in a way that one is trying to "lure away" members from here.

this has been a rule at "other" message boards i have been a member of.

if a mod or the admin comes here and says differently, so be it, my "bad"....

so maybe someone in "authority" will either confirm or deny what i had said...
