This was my thinking too. I' believe you can find something going this route. Be prepared for some sharks trolling this website that will tell you that you won't be able to get into this industry without going to a cdl mill school.
And I' am not talking about any Millis drivers. They are a good group of guys.
Looking into Millis but........

Millis Training Institute is not a cdl mill anyway. They run a tight ship with very small classes. Maybe like 5 MAX.
If I' can't get on with Millis for some reason then I' will go back to my original plan then apply with Watkins Shepard as they are a good company as well. -

I' forgot to mention Crete. I' think they hire graduates too. Not many complaints coming from them either.
If you are already set up to go to SAGE then 'I would say go for it. It cant' hurt and you will have your CDL when you are done. And you should be able to find a driving job when you are done. -
I have not looked at Crete, but I will. -
Most people on here that work for Boyd Bros seem to be happy but I am not sure what kind of miles those guys are getting. Best I could tell it seemed a little too low for my liking but you don't know till you go work for them. They hire school graduates as well by the way. -

FedEx fits in somewhere on my list but I was waiting until I had some experience before I ventured there. I have a connection there...hehehe
