I have my students use my payback card at ALL fuel stops. At the end of the training, I'll use the points to purchase them something they'll need out on the road...atlas, truck stop finder, log ruler, etc. I also buy them several dinners throughout the process. The harder they work for me, the more I'll spend on them.

If she takes payback cards with about $10-20 on them, then I'll help a rookie out.

Seebs, 48Packard and Freebird135 Thank this.

Lot lizards don't take Pilot payback cards.

I'm still pissed that my trainer allowed me to buy a paperback atlas. he should have told me to get the laminated one. The stupid paper one lasted like 2 weeks and started falling apart.

That's one of the first things I pull out when a student gets on my truck is the laminated Deluxe Motor Carriers' Road Atlas. I've purchased 8 of them in almost 3 years of training.
