Sorry, sir, that's not how it works on this here forum. When a guy posts a sentence and runs, we're supposed to jump to conclusions and talk about what he should have/could have done, and how much better we'd do it if we were in his shoes... THEN tell some trucker stories... THEN tell some jokes, THEN officially hijack the thread.
Unless he comes back and explains, of course.123456, fifthwheel07, RALPHMANBEARPONY and 2 others Thank this. -
And again...you make a broad assumption. I'm not "siding" against anyone. Indeed, I hope there was no reason and he has a good reason to seek compensation.
Oh forget it...once you've decided to make that long jump, you can't come back. Believe what you will. -
I've learned....
and it took me a while, given my assumption that all people are good, compassionate and professional...
but I've learned that not all truckers are "victims".alds and starvintrucker Thank this. -
Are u a trucker?
-
Shall I post a photo of me sitting in the Flying J lot in Winchester, VA right now? I do several things. I drive for fun and part-time work, used to run air freight with my wife, then bought a truck... sold it, yada, yada, yada.
So, yes. -
I am sure he will reply. Not everyone spends 24/7 on the interwebs.
Just don't assume he is lieing or hiding something...just cuz....let him explain... -
Maybe he was docked for the bus ticket, before he got thrown under it!
TGUNKEL, sedain and lostNfound Thank this. -
Never said he was lying, not at all. Just adding that the docking may be justified, although he may not agree or understand.

First the majority of companys in Tn only pay 25 to 36 cents per mile and can pay you on whatever scale they want. They can also rob you anytime they want, because truckdrivers are not covered by the dept of labor, and yes he can get a lawyer but only collect the amount that he can document. Probably have to pay lawyer out of his own pocket, and for the amount owed is probably not financely worth it. Yes this happens quite reguarly all across the country. I,m surprised the swift drivers were able to get a class action lawsuit on the mileage pay scale.
