Yes, of course the second part was in jest. It was a ridiculous suggestion, but the original incident was just as ridiculous. Calling a lawyer every time you think somebody wronged you is equally as ridiculous. If Johnny Law won't do their job a lawyer won't change it, it will just make the lawyer money. And if Injun is not successful in a lawsuit, it'll cost her a bundle and lawyer still gets rich. The only one who wins is the lawyer. Guaranteed.

That link probably goes to the mayor who gets a laugh. Sounds like this is one of them small communities with a mayor, a judge, 4 lawyers and a police dept. They all know each other and everything is kept in house. They take care of their own. Corruption is all around you and easily covered up.
Any retribution will have to come from the state level, outside lawyer or media.
Sometimes it's easier to put things behind you and move on. Karma will get that guy.wildbill123, SheepDog and end of the road Thank this. -
So, be karma.

This whole thread reminds me of my first week with a gordon trainer in so cal. One our first night in a parking lot he said take the seat belt and wrap it thru the inside of the door handle. So NO ONE CAN Open IT with out unlocking the seat belt which is in the middle of the walk way to ur sleeper. This gives you a valuable 30 seconds maybe to get things to your advantage or make him not wanna mess with you. Either way this indecent should be reported to someone. Plus one to why sarge said. Btw.
Yodler Thanks this. -
Go file a complaint and see for yourself. What your saying is that boss hog still runs hazard county. It's 2011 and with 5 minutes and a computer you can throw more sht in the fan that people don't have time to run for cover no matter who they are. Btw all you need to do is walk up with about 5 $ to the dept counter and ask for the incident report. They will have it and I'm sure they will make you a copy. If you go ask. Post that up. That would be good reading. Lol and before I forget. Anyone can do that. You don't need to be involved. It's public record.
Someone should just forward this thread with an mystery email to te dept./ state police / and about 20 news agency's working the local area. I promise something will happen. Either way someone is going to talk to someone. About what is up to those who read these posts. Lol I'm just sayin.Sarge Thanks this. -
I'd go with option 2. Someone tried to file a complaint against a dept here and they attacked and arrested him in the station. Just keep making noise until it catches fire and stay well out of their reach in the meantime.
simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
All evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

You could make a hit movie from our former sheriff who left office in 2008 a multimillionaire. His alleged resume included arson, drugs and stolen property. He was Buford T with a twist. He went in office living in a poor 2 bedroom house and now lives in a mansion on a 100 acre lakefront gated property. All on a sheriffs salary. Our judge was the only judge in the country with no law background. He is deceased now. I live in Monkey Town where the Scope's trial took place over the teaching of the Darwin Theory. The bible belt of poor uneducated people doesn't take likely to that stuff. Much hasn't changed, lol.
Just to give you a taste, when he started, the sheriff knew he could get the support of the citizens if he shut down the bars and control the drunks. He started by having his deputies stake out and arrest everyone leaving the bars. The three bars that survived and refused to close mysteriously burnt down within 2 months of each other. Did the citizens care? Not one bit. Then it was open season to do what he wanted with his enterprise. He was investigated multiple times by the TN Bureau of Investigations and other gov't entities with no further recourse.
Boss Hogg still lives today.A matter of fact, Luke Duke lives about 5 miles from me.

Absolutely! I live in one of those "Boss Hogg" county's and it goes on and on...
The adjacent county had the whole Sheriff's dept. fired due to, get this, a Meth lab in the back of the Sheriff's office...LOL Now that same Sheriff is in my county....
Small town corruption is obvious but, the judicial system is ALL corrupt so nothing anyone can do about it.
My wife and I were having some problems with it and called an outside newspaper to try and get help,,,nope! Called the state attorney,,,no help there either....Go Figure.
