USX drivers...how's your day??

Wow, congrats Sean! Shoes won't stay on for long Anna. Wish I could say only 4 hrs left! : ) Today finished out our first week in training, log books, PreTrip, FMCSR study, Drug test, Safety Equipment review, map reading and now homework! Only woman in class and I sure am catching the ribbing. Boy I sure admire you two. Quite an inspiration. So tired, but loving it!!!

Heading out to the shuttle launch this morning. 30% chance of launching today due to weather issues but we have to head out in case it is a go. My friend we are staying with has a very good friend who is an astronaut so we ran over to Orlando last night to pick up a NASA employee pass for the launch. We are going to be close! Fingers crossed on the weather.

What an amazing day. My friend has a buddy who is an astronaut who got us as close as you get to the launch if you are not working the launch. (He had to come out to the first checkpoint and ride in with us after spending the night in Atlantis preparing it for launch) One of the highlights of my life.

 

That is just awesome! So glad you both had fun. What a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience. I kept telling Ron you both were heading down this way. When I saw you both were heading to Florida I said, we should really meet you both!
