Sweet. Good for you, although, home time wouldn't be so bad if you got to come home to Death Valley. LOL

It'd take GH just under 4 hours to get me there. That's not counting the hour or so to get to the bus station, the check-in time, etc. I'm looking at 6-7 hours.

I'm planning on driving and can get there in about 5 hours (max?), and maybe come a day earlier. Haven't decided yet :)

I just thought of a question or two...

    1) How does the Qualcomm work? Are there any sights that show what it is and a general guide to what it can do / how it works? kinda curious about it. (Hadn't searched yet... thought I'd ask)

    2) Log books or e-logs? Do you use paper log books or is everything electronic / computer?

    Thanks again for any help...

Th Qualcomm is an evil machine that will make you curse for hours.... or at least it did my instructor. It's not hard to use. The Qualcomm is you log book. Supposed to have a paper log available for use in case the Qualcomm goes down, which has happened.

I just read another (older) topic on it and the (ahem!) common answer was not to worry about it, you'll find out... geez, what an answer :(

Something I've picked up is that if it comes over the QC it's proof of something if you need it... whereas, if you call someone, there's no proof of the call. Should I look at it this way?

So does this mean we always want to have the logbook up to date, or you only use it when the QC is down?

Thanks for all the good info :)
