Pilots and Flying J's have good showers. The best I have ever been in was at a Wilco Travel Center, Winnsboro, SC. I think it was around 45 through the 48 mile marker on the I-77. It was like going home to take a shower. The shower rooms were huge, very clean, had a toilet that was very clean as well. Also the people were really really nice which makes or breaks a place in my book.

You want to try a seedy truck stop with a seedy shower? I swear... The Go-Mart... I-70 exit 186 in Old Washington, OH.... I will never forget it.

 

Another good place for eats and showers is the 101 travel plaza in Cedar Grove, TN. Its exit 101 off the 40. Nice place, huge lounges. Up and downstairs.

 

yeah that place is pretty nice. but my favorite has to be the iowa 80 truckstop.

 

I buy all my chrome from Iowa 80 in Russelville, AR.

 

Pee bottle cheaper

 

I dunno about you...but I think youd have to be pretty darned talented to poop in a pee bottle.

 

The guys ar CalArk use a 5gallon bucket for this problem... I know a kid that cleans their trucks.

 

In the middle of the night.. if you want to wake up.. get dressed and walk to the truck stop...

All the shower shoes I've seen look just like regular flip flops...

Are you serious about the 5 gallon bucket question?

 

Personally, I'd never sit on a 5 gallon bucket. Not anymore that is! When I was a little girl my grandparents and one of my Aunts had outhouses and outdoor hand pumps for water. They would bring in the 5 gallon buckets to use when it was too cold to go outside.
