    Well I never heard of that before, maybe it's because us Canadian drivers know who to make a safe u-turn. So we don't need rules like this.

    Probably true, but think of the size of these companies and figure out where you find that many safe drivers

    That makes sense. SNI 10,000 trucks, 8000 that don't know what there doing. Okay they need a rule like that.

    He either did it in front of another Schneider driver who turned him in or really pissed off some 4 wheeler who called in.

    "Fellow" drivers are some of the biggest rats. I had a Stevens driver report that I damaged my truck making a uturn in the parking lot of a truck stop. Fortunately said damage was already present and noted when I left the yard after being assigned the truck.

    I wonder how many Werner drivers have reported me in for grossly exceeding the company speed limit, lol!

    I had a guy that recieved an inspection for doing an improper u-turn. For some reason we decided not to let him go, but I had another guy that reported himself and we let him go. Makes no sense, if you have a policy follow the policy. If you are only going to enforce it when you like it, get rid of the policy.

    Meltom is right. Run unders, blocking traffic, getting stuck/hung up. I was gonna say bending the batwings, but most SNI trucks already have that modification!:biggrin_255:
