I prefer weekend dispatch, they actually pick up the phone. Just for laughs I called my dispacher friday I was on hold for a hour and 42 minutes.

One hour & 42min?? Dang! How can a co ask and/or demand certain employees (drivers) to be professional when the office people won't be! In my opinion you can't demand someone to do something and not do it yourself. I would never wait that long on a phone for which I pay the bill for.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

I can't ever get through to weekend. My FM answers the phone 80% of the time. Answers emails even when home. If I call and they don't answer, or put me on hold...I call back over and over until someone answers. Weekend dispatch gets about 2 rings and straight to hold...No hope there. QC messages take hours to be answered at times. Ask them a question about dropping a load on Fri that delivers on Mon...Forget about that. Not even if it's next door to the terminal or drop yard.

You have been driving for 7 years and you are here? Seems to me a little due diligence is in order......just an observation.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

My fm has had ample opportunity to lie to me and has not. Doesn't mean I've always liked the answer though. I have had less than a good experience with nights/weekends.
At the end of the day we all signed voluntarily, most of us suffer now from buyers remorse. Only 182 days to go......... -
If it wasn't for my string of bad luck, I wouldn't be so lucky this week...lol
As I had just over 700 miles last week, and sat for 3 days in OH, I got a load Sunday that picked up and went to Laredo. Got there this evening (1479mi) and then picked up a 1309mi run to Chicago. I needed a load from Laredo that would be long enough I could sit on it for a day, and stop and finally get my ac fixed, since I was advised that Laredo's International dealer sucks. So I brought this load to San Antonio to get to the dealer in the morning and get this ac fixed for another few days

I and my husband know this first hand. I chose them as my starter company and he chose them just cause he thought they would be "ok". Little miles, little pay, poor trainers, poor quality DM's (mine tried to tow my truck while I was on home time!), and they lie on DAC reports. My husband told them he'd bring their truck/trailer to their terminal and they said 'no, we'll send someone'. So we wait til the person came to pick it up and went on our merry way. Later on we find out that they put that he'd abandoned a load (or abandoned his truck..neither is good) on his DAC. He protested it, called them, and eventually got it removed (or downgraded at least).
These people SUCK.

Well maybe I was too quick to judge this company negatively. On Monday, I got a load out of W Memphis (300 miles) followed by a msg from the FM saying he'd approved me for detention pay for the weekend. After delivering that load I got a 600 miler. Just dropped tha one and I'm on a 400 miler now. All have picked up and delivered same day except this one which delivers tomorrow. I haven't been able to sit in one place for more than 3 hours. I practically had to beg night dispatch to let me have a 10 hour break. If the loads keep coming this fast, I'll have NO issues here lol!
tjonzen420 Thanks this.
