Meaning instead of the phone or radio call, since you pointed out that the franchised restaurant may not be in constant communication with the store.

No, that's why I used sarcasm in saying "God forbid".

 

Usually truck stops look just like the people working there.Not always but most of the time.Lazy is as lazy does.

 

But in reality, why would the restaurant even care what the truckstop says?

They are separate business operations and unless the truckstop is going to pay for it, then tough.

 

I've seen many times were folks in Wendys or Mickey Ds were wearing Pilot gear, and their managers are qualified to run both operations.

 

Most I have been at may have that or not. But they will state they are separate when you try to use points or get ice.

Some of them, have subway and they share the ice in the store, but the franchise burger place even has bars or gates.
