Are you stupid or has the pot made you that way? I'm sure if you like it that much you'll try all you can to get past the tests. This industry doesn't need you and here's a fair warning, you will be caught and it will cost you a lot of money.

 

With more companies going to hair follicle tests, your school time will expire before you test clean. Enjoy wasteing your money on useless schooling.

 

Dude- you're wasting your bucks in driving school. I've got no problem with you using weed at all, but as soon as your truck stops somewhere, dealers will be all over you. Just one mistake- only one slip up, just ONE time and you'll fail the urine test. Then, you're screwed. Really, I'm dead serious- this career is a serious mismatch for you.

 

I'm an ex-pothead.

I used to LOVE my dope. But in 1993, when I decided to go to trucking school.....I knew the rules, and I knew what I had to do.
I quit smoking, and never looked back. It's not that hard. It all depends on what you want, when you want it, and how bad you want it.

I still know people that smoke weed....and when they get it out, I just leave the room. They know I'm done with that part of my life, and I won't even risk being around it.

In the trucking industry, you are subject to random tests, reasonable suspision tests, pre-employment tests etc.... and when my name pops up, I can smile and say "hand me the cup".

If you don't plan on quiting, and quiting for good; like American-Trucker said, don't bother joining the industry. Because the first time you pee dirty....your career is over anyhow....and you NEVER know (other than 'pre-employment') when you're gonna be asked to give a sample.

 

Right, this guy needs to fully understand what happens in the industry if her ever tests positive.
